Live Net Zero is a Canadian Geographic program that helps households and classrooms reduce their carbon footprints through challenges, tools, and educational resources. I led the web design for the Live Net Zero microsite and supported production of campaign assets used across digital and print channels.
The challenge
Turn a public engagement program into an online hub that streams challenge updates, resources, and interactive tools within Canadian Geographic’s site structure and a broader multi-channel campaign.
The solution
The goal was to design a warm, energetic microsite that makes it simple for Canadians to learn about the challenge, follow participating households, and find resources to reduce home emissions.
Microsite design
I built the Live Net Zero microsite inside Canadian Geographic’s platform, making it simple for visitors to find and explore household stories, challenge details, and resources.
Content hub and challenge pages
The site highlights the Household Challenges with clear entry points, featured content from participating families, and a resource area that helps people take action at home.
Campaign asset production
I helped with producing web-ready versions of campaign graphics and adapted visuals for social, display, and partner channels, ensuring visual consistency between the microsite and wider awareness efforts.
The outcome
The microsite became the program’s central digital hub, making it easier for users to follow the challenge, access resources, and engage with campaign content across channels. The site supported a broad awareness push and provided partners with adaptable web assets for promotion.
